TEXAS AMERICAN BUCKSKIN ASSOCIATION June 9, 2007 Club Minutes The organizational meeting was held at the Belton Buckskin horse show in Belton, Texas on June 9, 2007. Eight people were in attendance. Officers were elected: President: Julie Dinse 3301 FM 470 Bandera, TX 78003 830-796-4866 Vice-President: Jane Fultman 9695 W. Trimmier Rd. Killeen, TX 76542 254-634-3429 Secretary: Eleanor Richards-Blazer 1622 Park Drive Boerne, TX 78006 602-616-8414 Treasurer: Don Blazer 1622 Park Drive Boerne, TX 78006 602-689-6171 During the meeting the application for non-profit status was discussed. Don Blazer will apply and then open an account at a local bank in Boerne, TX. Fund raising events were discussed. Organizing a horse show and offering clinics were the topics. Nothing was decided. Eleanor Richards offered to start a web site, which will be an off-shoot of an existing site to save money. Members will be notified via email when the site is operational. Membership drive was discussed. Julie Dinse is chairing that effort. The next meeting will be held in Tulsa, Oklahoma during the American Buckskin World horse show on July 27th between the English and Western Riding classes. Meeting was adjourned. |
