One
of the newly-discovered pits of chariots and horses in the
ruins of Yin, in Anyang city of central China's Henan province, May 26, 2005. Five
of the seven newly-discovered pits are arranged in a line, with chariots and
horses facing eastward. Yin was an ancient name for the Shang Dynasty (1300 BC
-1050 BC).
